BRS 29 – Tribute

This is NOT the greatest podcast in the world… this is just a tribute.

A long time ago Ronnie Jams and Kenny Thunder was hitch hiking down a long and lonesome road. When all of a sudden there shined a real Big Seel, in the middle of the road. And he said “who is the best football player in the world!? I want to know!” Well Ronnie and Kenny. They looked at each other. And they each said… “JIM BROWN!”

And they made the first thing that came to their heads and it just so happened to be… the best pod in the world, it was the best pod in the world!

But the peculiar thing is this my friend the pod that they made on that fateful night didn’t actually sound anything like this pod! This is just a tribute! To the great Jim Brown. We also talk about rumors and other Cleveland sports. A new dog logo is coming, and we play the schedule game. But mostly just talk about the great Jim Brown! BRS 28 – Whose Logo Is It Anyway?

Welcome to Whose Logo Is It Anyway where the entries are made up and the points don’t matter… the Browns will inevitably pick their favorite and not ours regardless. On today’s episode the Browns have narrowed down the fan submitted designs for the official unofficial logo for the Cleveland Browns (and more specifically the Dawg Pound) to 5 and we debate which one slaps the hardest, they have completed their version of the 2023 draft with no 1st or 2nd rounders to speak of, there are some trade rumors swirling, they signed a veteran presence for the DBs room, another new arrival in that room from free agency got a Browns themed tattoo, Lamar got his contract, the schedule comes out soon, we give an update on a past guest from the show, the Cavaliers were unceremoniously bounced from the playoffs in the first round, and the Guardians continue to have more issues than we know what to make of… and we break it all down for you on the Burning River Sportscast!

BRS 9 – Browns Week 8 Recap and BYE Week Breakdown

On Halloween night, Monday Night Football, and in front of a prime time audience, our Cleveland Browns came screaming out of the grave they had dug themselves the last few weeks and haunted the Bengals’ all night until Joey B. and the boys were seeing ghosts! We were treated to monster performances on All Hallows’ Eve from Batman (Nick Chubb) and Vecna (Myles Garret), Pumpkin Head was representin’ and the rest of the Dawg Pound was howling at the moon all night long as the Browns thoroughly disemboweled and dismembered their opponents in this one!

Up next the Browns get a chance to rest up and get healthy as Week 9 is the much needed BYE. It’s time to regroup and gear up for the last stretch before QB1, Deshaun Watson, returns and attempts to carry us to the promised land.

And although the Browns were quiet at the deadline, the rest of the league provided absolute madness and brought the NFL trade deadline into the 21st Century of American sports. And we break it all down for you on the Burning River Sportscast!
