BRS 38 – Week 2: One Hughes Podcast

The season is off to a fantastic start and we’re still feeling it! The Bengals came to town riding high as Super Bowl favorites in many circles around the NFL. However, the Browns had other plans and weren’t quite ready to anoint them just yet. Our Brownies dominated in all facets of the game and came away looking like they were ready to take the next step in their quest to conquer the North. They now turn their attention to the Shittsburgh Steelers and Kenny Two Gloves and look to hand that team in black and yellow their second straight lopsided loss on MNF and start 2-0 with two wins over Division opponents. We discuss those games, do another interview in our Browns Backers series with the Pittsburgh Browns Backers located behind enemy lines, discuss our week 1 Dawg of the Week, cover some news across the league, do an interview with Big John Hughes who will be joining us on the Cleveland Browns Fan Cruise, briefly talk Cavs and Guards, introduce a new sponsor, and then turn up all over again about the Browns week 1 victory! BRS 37 – Week 1: The South Euclid Slaughtercast

It’s time! Time for your Cleveland Browns to play some real and meaningful football! We kick the season off in style with an interview with the Browns Barkers of South Euclid Browns Backers organization as well as a second interview with Browns Legend Webster Slaughter! Unfortunately, Ronnie Jams was on vacation abroad so Kenny Thunder had to hold it down in the states for this one. But there is plenty of Browns news, the Bengals come to town for week 1, and we are turnt that we are FINALLY getting the season started. BRS 36 – The Emperor Has No Clothes (2023 Offseason Review and Season Preview)

After dragging for what seemed like an eternity the off-season has finally come to a close and we can look forward to real football being played! In this preseason we had some surprises, our kicker struggled mightily, there were injuries to some players with a ton of potential, there are career concerns due to injuries to a cornerstone of the team, the defense looked good, the offense was inconsistent, the special teams units looked abysmal, there have already been some surprising cuts and there are sure to be more, and contracts are being restructured for what could potentially be one more big splash in free agency or via trade. In other news, Tito is most likely retiring from coaching the Guards, QBs are on the move across the NFL, RBs are still having issues getting paid, we’ve got an update on our boy Anthony Kendall, injuries are ending games, there were some tragic celebrity deaths, India landed on the moon, and the 2023 season and the expectations that come with it need discussed. BRS 35 – Blindsided

The King of the North reigns supreme! Ronnie Jams wears his crown and Kenny Thunder becomes one of the sorry people as we preview how he got pelted with eggs for his punishment. Also, Michael Oher has blindsided the Tuohys, no more lizards at The Winking Lizards, the Browns have some standouts in the preseason thus far, Deshaun Watson is starting to look more comfortable, Cade York keeps missing, the injury bug is visiting the locker room early this year, the Browns were able to bolster the D-Line with some help via free agency, Joe Thomas is officially in the HoF, the Guardians suck but Jose Ramirez beat Tim Anderson’s ass, Ricky Rubio is stepping away from basketball, our old pal Buster Skrine is doing some shady things, and college football is well on its way to two super conferences and a bunch of others that are just there to give the big guys someone to piss on. BRS 34 – Hall of Fame Game: The Battle of the Backups

Finally… the Browns have come back to CAN-TON! The Cleveland Browns are in the Hall of Fame Game – AKA The Battle of the Backups – against the got damn Jets and we don’t have to go a week without football for the next 6 months. Training camp at the Greenbrier is over and the boys are back in town working out in Berea, apparently the offense AND defense have impressed in camp thus far (?), a big-time free agent is visiting this week, there is a battle for the backup QB position (or at least QB3), Joe Thomas is getting enshrined, the Browns are most likely putting the new Dawg Pound logo at mid-field for the season, the Guardians continue to guard .500, the RB drama in the NFL is off the chain, Head Coaches are going to war, Messi is a full blown phenomenon, Travis Kelce gets shut down, Twitter is now X, and Pee-Wee Herman has passed away… Oh and if you haven’t bought your tickets to the Cleveland Browns Fan Cruise yet then you’re wrong! BRS 33 – Logo Girl w/ Special Guest Emily Morgan

The off-season is almost over! The country roads are taking the Cleveland Browns home as they are heading into training camp at the Greenbrier in West Virginia, a few Browns got married during the break, people aren’t expecting much from the Browns outside of Cleveland which leaves them poised to fly under the radar out of the gates, free agent pipe dreams have landed elsewhere, Cade York is going to bounce back, a couple Browns legends are one step closer to the HoF, the Guardians continue to guard their .500 record, the Cavs are (summer league) Champions again, LeBron is changing his number, Messi has landed, and Aaron Rodgers claims that something is a bigger distraction than him for his team. We also get a chance to sit down with Emily “Logo Girl” Morgan who won the fan vote and officially came in 3rd in the Dawg Pound logo competition and give you an inside look at that entire process. BRS 32 – Ex-ESPN Employees Welcome

It’s the most off-season part of the off-season for the Cleveland Browns but we won’t let that slow us down! This week we talk about a brand new technology that utilizes large pieces of fabric to harness the power of the wind and helps ships traverse the seas while lowering emissions… Not only that but there are free agents out there that the Browns could use, Nick Chubb is getting more accolades, analysts aren’t sold on Watson, ESPN is down to about 7 employees, the Browns are living rent free in Baker Mayfield’s head… still… Myles Garrett is getting involved in the community, the Cavs are making moves, the Guardians are lurking, there’s money literally everywhere in sports at all levels, and somebody for the Browns is going to have a break out year! BRS 29 – Tribute

This is NOT the greatest podcast in the world… this is just a tribute.

A long time ago Ronnie Jams and Kenny Thunder was hitch hiking down a long and lonesome road. When all of a sudden there shined a real Big Seel, in the middle of the road. And he said “who is the best football player in the world!? I want to know!” Well Ronnie and Kenny. They looked at each other. And they each said… “JIM BROWN!”

And they made the first thing that came to their heads and it just so happened to be… the best pod in the world, it was the best pod in the world!

But the peculiar thing is this my friend the pod that they made on that fateful night didn’t actually sound anything like this pod! This is just a tribute! To the great Jim Brown.
