BRS 36 – The Emperor Has No Clothes (2023 Offseason Review and Season Preview)
After dragging for what seemed like an eternity the off-season has finally come to a close and we can look forward to real football being played! In this preseason we had some surprises, our kicker struggled mightily, there were injuries to some players with a ton of potential, there are career concerns due to injuries to a cornerstone of the team, the defense looked good, the offense was inconsistent, the special teams units looked abysmal, there have already been some surprising cuts and there are sure to be more, and contracts are being restructured for what could potentially be one more big splash in free agency or via trade. In other news, Tito is most likely retiring from coaching the Guards, QBs are on the move across the NFL, RBs are still having issues getting paid, we’ve got an update on our boy Anthony Kendall, injuries are ending games, there were some tragic celebrity deaths, India landed on the moon, and the 2023 season and the expectations that come with it need discussed.
